The event which is about Japanese Traditional "Ukiyoe" which means wood block printing will be held at the British museum from 25th May to 13th August. The main title is Hokusai beyond the Great Wave. I guess you've seen this picture ever. These ones were drawn by a craftsman. One of them, Hokusai Katsushika. He is a representative of its field. The British museum features him, and they will be held his work exhibition. Along with it, our Green tea will be sold at there as souvenir. The package image is based on his drawing as below. First of all, please let us say Thanks a million for visiting our blog. The main reason of establishing this, we'd like to sending out our activity and mind to all over the world. Anyway, I guess it's good to introduce ourselves firstly. The main item we deal in is Japanese traditional " Green tea ". The production of Green tea began in Japan about 13 century. It is said that its cultivation in Shizuoka pref was started in same timing. After this, Shizuoka pref has grown with green tea so far. We at YAWATAYA CHAHO is placed in Shizuoka pref and has history about 105 years. As you can see in above picture, there is river, mountain, a lot of green around our company. It is said that To make good green tea, it's needed river and mountain from long ago. Actually, the green tea taste is differ according to tea craftsman's skill.
